Aims & scope

Annals of Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobials considers manuscripts on all aspects of clinical microbiology, infectious diseases and antimicrobials.

Submitted manuscripts can report on: any aspect of diagnosis of infectious diseases; biological aspects of infectious diseases; case management and antimicrobial treatment; antibiotic development and antimicrobial resistance.

The journal will receive its first official Impact Factor in 2013.

Hakan Leblebicioglu is a Professor of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology, and Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology at Ondokuz Mayis University, Turkey.

"Hakan Leblebicioglu has published in the fields of antibiotic use, epidemiology, nosocomial infections, viral hepatitis, and leptospirosis; these research interests were his inspiration to take on the role of Editor-in-Chief for the Open Access, peer reviewed, online journal Annals of Clinical Microbiology and Antimicrobials."
